Digital Initiatives & Loyalty Applications

The role leads end to end digital transformation initiatives by managing loyalty applications, evaluating emerging technologies, and driving innovation that enhances customer engagement, operational efficiency, and overall digital experience. Acting as a techno Functional bridge between business, IT teams, and vendors, the position oversees application lifecycle management, digital platform modernization, and continuous improvement of loyalty program systems to support organizational growth. As part of the enterprise cloud solutions team, the Loyalty IT Manager contributes across the full delivery cycle including requirement gathering, website/app development, testing, training, deployment, and post implementation support. Working closely with Solution Architects and Technical Architects, the role helps design and deploy large scale digital solutions while enabling functional leaders to make data driven decisions. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to effectively engage cross?functional teams and drive initiatives aligned with the organization’s vision. Core Responsibilities Digital Initiatives & New Technology Adoption Identify, research, and evaluate emerging digital technologies, trends, and platforms relevant to the business. Loyalty Applications & Program Management Oversee development, enhancement, and implementation of loyalty platforms, including app, website, and backend systems. Design, execute, and improve loyalty strategies to drive customer retention & engagement. Analyse customer and program data to identify insights, trends, and improvement opportunities. Manage technical operations of loyalty systems, ensuring stability, data integrity, and timely resolution of issues. Techno-Functional Delivery & Analysis Convert business requirements into functional specs, user stories, and process flows. Support rapid prototyping and solutioning for new business features. Perform functional/integration testing and UAT documentation. Evaluate interfaces with other systems (ERP, CRM, eCommerce). Project & Vendor Management Manage end-to-end project execution for digital initiatives and loyalty enhancements. Handle vendor selection, coordination, performance tracking, and contract management. Ensure compliance with data privacy & security standards. Candidate’s duties include: Assess existing loyalty application deployments and processes to identify improvement opportunities. Develop and execute loyalty strategies aligned with overall business goals while managing related IT systems (website, mobile app, customer database). Liaise with internal teams and vendors to define requirements, documentation, end-to-end process flows, and UAT-related deliverables. Analyze business needs, identify gaps, and translate them into clear functional user stories and solution requirements. Discover unarticulated needs of stakeholders and end-users to shape effective and scalable loyalty features. Evaluate data interfaces with connected systems, conducting technical due diligence to ensure reliable integrations. Create functional/integration test cases, perform testing cycles, and compute release scores after each deployment. Maintain loyalty platforms by ensuring system quality, resolving technical issues, and safeguarding data integrity. Monitor program performance, analyze customer data for trends and improvements, and present insights to senior management. Build strong business relationships, lead knowledge sharing sessions, ensure compliance, and drive automation of repetitive end user tasks.
